Recently, Evergear Drive Co., Ltd. has won the municipal “First Set of Equipment” honor for its independently developed planetary gear reducer suitable for complex working conditions.

This recognition marks an authoritative affirmation of Evergear’s technological breakthroughs in power transmission, as well as the company’s development philosophy of driving quality through innovation and defining products with technology.

The “First Set” accreditation features stringent assessment criteria, focusing on genuine innovations in original technology, fundamental process upgrades and product reliability.

The awarded high-end custom reducer is a core heavy-duty precision gear transmission unit. Iteratively developed based on Evergear’s mature ER/EK/EF/ES/EH product platform, it serves a wide range of sectors including environmental protection, mining, chemical, papermaking, grain & oil, tunneling, marine and stage equipment. It undertakes power reduction, torque transmission and smooth driving as a critical component of complete machinery.

Tailored for extreme working conditions with frequent shock and overload such as icebreakers and heavy mining machinery, this planetary reducer adopts an innovative integrated auto-reset torque limiter. It overcomes common industry drawbacks of conventional planetary reducers: slow overload response, difficult reset and complicated structure, reaching a leading technical level among domestic counterparts.

Innovation underpins the “First Set” achievement. Evergear has built a complete independent intellectual property portfolio during development. To balance high efficiency and stability, the R&D team carried out fundamental improvements on gear heat treatment and sealing structures. Up to now, the company holds 11 invention patents and 80 utility model patents.
